(San Diego, CA) January 22, 2013– Positive Hip-Hop artist Ruslan released his highly-anticipated solo debut album, “Carry On,” on iTunes and Amazon today. This album highlights the evolution of his career as an MC.

“We took an unorthodox approach to the creation of this album,” said Ruslan. The album features production from producers who are part of Kings Dream Entertainment, the music label that Ruslan founded. “I worked closely with producers DJ Rek and JRuckers to create our own unique sound,” Ruslan explained.

When asked about what it means to have a unique sound, Ruslan responded, “we make ‘Truth Music.’ It’s music that is true to who we are on and off stage, true to our experiences, and true to our view of Hip-Hop and the world.” Many of the songs on the album are very personal and obviously shaped by Ruslan’s experience of having come to America as a religious refugee.

“Carry On” is the follow-up to “Never Arrive,” an album Ruslan released in December of 2011 as the front man of Hip-Hop crew theBREAX. That album debuted at #3 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts. Rusan expects even more success for “Carry On.”

“I’m excited to have some fun records on the album like ‘In My Heart,’ ‘Swerve,’ and ‘Kayfuem,’ that people might not be used to hearing from me,” said Ruslan.

While creating records that might surprise some people, no one will be surprised by the quality of the music and the quality of the artists featured on “Carry On.” Reach Records artist Lecrae, whose latest album reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200, is featured on the album along with Chris Cobbins of Late Bloom, and JR of High Society.

“I wanted to highlight the talents of Kings Dream artists, so I made sure that any other artists who were featured on the album brought a refreshing element to the album and only added to the overall quality of the sound.” Ruslan is confident that the featured artists did just that.

“I’m excited to be releasing my first full-length solo album. It has been an amazing experience to take my vision for my music and bring it to life.” Ruslan said. “I’m excited for people to hear it and be able to share this experience with me.” If the initial critical reaction is any indication, listeners will most definitely enjoy the “Carry On” musical experience.

Lots of folks have been talking about The Game’s recent album, “Jesus Piece.” Well, Ruslan wanted to tackle some of issues that the album raised, head-on; especially the misuse and abuse of so much Christian language and terminology. Ruslan to Release Solo Debut, “Carry On,” January 22, 2013

Positive Hip-Hop MC, Ruslan, will make his solo debut on January 22 with the release of “Carry On.” This album is a follow-up to his previous release with theBREAX, “Never Arrive,” which rose to #3 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts in December of 2011.

In making his solo debut, Ruslan will be further developing the themes found on “Never Arrive” and exploring new musical ground, as well. “This album will feel very different from
what people may expect of me and my past music of theBREAX,” said Ruslan about “Carry On.”

This will also be the first official album release for Ruslan under the newly formed Kings Dream Entertainment. Ruslan explained the team effort from Kings Dream that went into the creation of the album, “I’m excited to be working with an amazing in-house production team with DJ Rek, Jruckers, and Bam holding down the majority of the music.

Never one afraid to take risks with his art, Ruslan talked about what people can expect from the music on the album, “the launch of Kings Dream has given me the liberty to explore and rediscover the type of music I’m really passionate about.”

Ruslan will be headlining a special concert to celebrate the release of “Carry On” at the San Diego House of Blues on January 20th. Tickets are available now on the San Diego House of Blues website.

Said Ruslan about the release, “I’m focused and excited. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this record.”

Kings Dream Conference

Some of the best Positive Hip-Hop artists in the country will gather at theMOVEMENT Church in San Marcos, CA on December 7 and 8 to headline the inaugural Kings Dream Conference. Performing artists include Andy Mineo, Fonzworth Bentley, B. Reith, Ruslan, and many others.

The two-day conference will include not only two full concerts with nearly a dozen performances, but also presentations and talks from pastors, scholars, and other experts in various subjects. The focus of the conference is to inspire and equip people for success in every area of their lives.

“The Kings Dream Conference is going to do more than just entertain people, it is going to educate and encourage them, too,” said Ruslan, a performing emcee and President of Kings Dream Entertainment, the company hosting the event.

“I think the Kings Dream Conference is going to help people get a bigger picture of their purpose and capacity. I’m excited to be a part of it.” said Reach Records artist Andy Mineo.

The focus of Kings Dream will be to inspire and equip people for success in every area of their lives through Positive Hip-Hop, clothing/apparel and live event experiences.
